To announce an upgrade!
So, if you’ve attempted to visit BGB in the last day or two, you might have noticed that disturbing “Maintenance Mode” page. I’ve had couple of you email me, asking me if everything was OK, and making sure I wasn’t having a blog meltdown!
Luckily, no blog meltdown, but I did have a blog revamp, which you’ll have noticed as soon as you landed here. Yay! I’m very excited to have this new lay out up, as I love it for one, and think it’s going to be much easier to navigate around for my readers.
Hopefully you all love it too! (If not… you know the drill… lie, lie, and lie some more!)
OK fine… don’t lie, because I welcome your feedback, and you can feel free to shoot me an email with your thoughts at any time. 🙂
Anyway, with the change we’ve had a few bugs. So if you happen to experience something buggy, please let me know asap so I can work to fix it.
Also, if you’re reading this in your RSS reader or you get email updates, you’ll notice most of the “new” posts are links to my guest posts. FYI… these are NOT new posts, I’ve simply got a new system in place, and I need to set these up as “posts” in order for them to go to the right place.
In the near future that will mean you simply get a notice of one new post to one new guest post I may have done… but I have to sort of “back log” these older ones in, so you can expect to see nothing but these old guest posts listed as “new posts” in your reader until I get them all up, and it’s over with.
In the mean time, your patience is MUCHO appreciated, and hey! Maybe you missed one of these when they first went out, so you’ll get to read them now and maybe find something useful in them. (See… I’m a bright side kinda girl!)
Now, as you’ll notice I’ve got category and archive search menu’s right at the top, which should make things a little easier for you to find around here. Guest posts are handily found right in the sidebar, and if ever you’re looking for something specific, just use that search bar right at the very tippy top.
You’ll also notice that subscribing is now very easy, you can’t miss the option for both the newsletter and regular RSS/EMAIL updates if you prefer.
A few more tweaks are in order, but when all is said and done, I think the redesign is going to be great, and much more pleasing to your little reading eye. And with that said… we now take you back to your regularly scheduled entrepreneur programming! 😉
